I agree with you. Music is one of the few things that you can’t take short cuts in.

Plus, I think you are doing just fine! You already chosen 2 guiding principles —

• The Technical Aspects
• Improvisation

If you put in enough time into these two aspects, I’m sure that I’ll be standing in line to buy tickets for your concert. (much before 10,000 hours)
