Most people would think that it is impossible to juggle between so many priorities. I too can’t think of many people who have succeeded in the above-mentioned feats, but I’m certain that achieving this is possible. (At least that’s what my gut says!)

We all live in a world where unwanted opinions, unnecessary hate and unappreciated negativity cloud the atmosphere. In such a world, we often hear people say—

You can only succeed in ONE field.

Don’t bite off more than you can chew.

You can’t possibly do ALL these things.

While I do agree that we all are limited by time, I can’t begin to fathom why people think that there is a limit to the amount of focus, creative energy and knowledge we can possess.

The biggest reason why we aren’t succeeding in ALL the fields we are aiming for is not the lack of time, but our lack of focus. If we can somehow, convince ourselves to focus our 100% on ALL our pursuits, there isn’t any reason why we can’t succeed in them.

Hence, instead of focussing on other people’s opinions, hate and negativity, we must focus on the things that truly matter to us, our goals.

The haters may think that we can only succeed in ONE field, but they don’t know how important each field is to us. If ALL the fields we wish to succeed in are vital to our very being, our success in each of them is a given.

The naysayers may think that we can’t possibly do ALL the things, but they fail to understand that our focus is ever-growing. With enough focus in ALL the fields, success becomes inevitable.

So that next time, someone tells you not to bite off more that you can chew, look at them, smile and say —

Watch me!
